iPhone Keynote 2018 - the Highlights

Thousands of excited tech-fans flocked to Cupertino, California on Wednesday September 12th in order to get a sneak peek at the newest products which will soon be available. The event took place in the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple HQ and the announcements were widely met with enthusiasm. Fans were excited to hear that 3 new phones and the Apple Watch 4 would be hitting the market in the coming months. Just in time for Christmas of course!

iPhone Xs

The iPhone Xs uses the same super retina display that was so popular on the iPhone X. This OLED technology is able to capture colors and contrast with more accuracy than any previous display. The screen is slightly bigger than that of the iPhone X at 5.8 inches. The phone is also installed with state of the art processing technology. The A12 Bionic chip is capable of performing 5 trillion operations per second. Coincidentally, the A11 chip was only able to perform 600 billion operations per second. In addition, the image capturing quality of the Xs has been improved with smarter HDR technology. This will reduce the amount of blur on photos even when they are taken at high speeds. Apple has also announced that the battery life of an Xs will be around 30 minutes longer than its predecessor.
